About me

Hello, I’m Colette an award-winning bridal hair stylist and National Finalist.

Although I’m fully qualified in all aspects of hairdressing, my true passion lies in crafting elegant, timeless bridal hair that enhances your natural beauty and reflects your personal style.

My work has been proudly featured in Vogue, Yorkshire Save the Date Magazine, Beauty Bay, Bride Magazine Official, Rock My Wedding and Coco Wedding Venues.

Based in West Yorkshire, I run Hair by Tosetti from my beautiful bridal studio in Leeds. For wedding days, I work freelance and travel across the UK and internationally for destination weddings.

Colette did hair for me and three bridesmaids on my wedding day. Colette did such an amazing job. I have fine hair, however Colette made my up-do look very full and volumised, and it stayed in all day. When the lights were turned on at the end of the night after lots of dancing, everyone commented how it still looked perfect! Colette gave great advice during my trial, and was so friendly, calm and relaxed on the wedding morning. She is so talented and I would definitely recommend.

If you are considering Hair by Tosetti for your bridal hair, look no further. Colette did the hair for my wedding in November, including bride, two bridesmaids and mother of the bride. She knew exactly what I wanted and her fantastic knowledge and experience made it easy to achieve the look I was going for. She is clearly very passionate about what she does and has some great ideas which I was more than happy for her to try and didn’t regret it. Colette was fantastic on the morning of my wedding and it was a pleasure to have her there with us as we got ready. Her approach is fuss free, laid back and professional. When she arrived on the day the first thing she told me was how she had taken a course recently and learnt some new methods that she asked me if she could try. I was more than happy to trust her expertise and I’m glad that I did. On the day she did more than just our hair, she helped to calm my nerves, made sure everyone was ok and helped to get things in order. She even stayed until the very last minute to help as I got in my dress so that she could to perfect my hair. Nothing was too much trouble, she’s professional, friendly and generally an all round lovely person. A pleasure to have as part of my wedding.

From the moment of checking her Instagram, to booking and going to my first trial, she has been absolutely faultless.
Such an incredibly talented and beautiful lady inside and out.
Colette absolutely nailed the look I was going for, right from the very start. She was so welcoming, warm, friendly and just gave that real good energy that I couldn’t wait for my wedding day.
Colette was such an important part of making my wedding morning truly amazing, she is such a perfectionist and made me feel and look amazing - the ultimate hype women you need on a wedding morning!
My bridal party all had such different looks and she nailed every single one, with all of them loving her like i did!

She is honestly the absolute dream hair stylist. She’s incredibly talented and just so lovely; such a gem of a person. My bridesmaids and I loved having her with us on the wedding morning-she’s so friendly and has such a calming influence.

I had Hollywood curls and my hair looked absolutely perfect! I got so many compliments about it all day. My bridesmaids all chose different hair styles and each one looked fantastic! All our hair lasted all day and night too.

From the first time I met Colette at my hair trial, I knew we were going to get on so well. I looooved my hair trial and it made me so excited for the day.
But it was on the day that Colette went above and beyond for all of us. My second hair stylist unfortunately had to cancel a few weeks before my wedding date and Colette recommended someone absolutely fabulous to step in.
On the day of my wedding Colette was more than a hair stylist, not only did she make my girls look amazing, and she gave me the hair of my dreams. I’ve honestly never seen myself looking like that! I felt like a million dollars.
I felt like I’d known Colette for years, just totally at ease, she’s so kind and was the calming voice I needed when things went a little wrong, so so supportive. I'm obsessed with how my hair turned out and everyone's hair looked incredible all night long. Not only did she do an absolutely AMAZING job, but she was truly a hype woman all morning long and such a delight to be around. She truly went above and beyond - I came in from the states and had to have my hair trial just 4 days before my wedding and turns out I needed extensions for the style I wanted. I’d been looking at a few different ones but after seeing Colette’s work I knew her style of bridal hair is what I wanted to work towards from seeing her amazing work and am I glad I chose her!
Her teaching technique is second to none, I was so focused all day as her enthusiasm and interaction keeps you engaged in everything she is doing.
She went above and beyond with the styles she created, even doing more than what was originally confirmed.
I have come away from her masterclass so much more confident in bridal hair, her little tips and tricks make all the difference and that’s exactly what I felt I needed, and with a generous little goodie bag with a few of her favourite products and tools! I’m so looking forward to practicing the styles we learned from her.
